Warning to drivers

in Newfoundland and Labrador.....

We have another driver in the house! Brittney recently got her learner's permit to drive. That makes TWO teenage drivers in the house now...oh my! All kidding aside, we're (mostly) glad lol...driving is such a necessary skill.

Congrats Brittney!

Dissection

A local homeschooling family asked Larry if he'd be willing to lead a dissection. As with most Biology teachers, this sort of thing is right up his alley. It was decided a frog and a cow's eye would be the specimens of choice for this session. The other family graciously looked after ordering the specimens and they hosted the event at their house. I was self-appointed photographer and kept my distance from the.... ummm...."fun" (ewww....dissecting -- not my thing ;) )

The teacher is the first one to the table....anxiously wanting to get this show on the road...

Frogs were first on the agenda..

Everyone's suited up with cut out garbage bags for aprons, gloves and goggles

Down to work...

They worked away, learning as they went along. Judging by all the "Oh wow!"s and "Cool!!" statements....it seemed to go very well.
