Welcome to Spring!

This is the view out of our front window on the first day of Spring. Notice how all the snow (all but one little patch) has gone.

And.....

This is the same view out of our front window on the second day of Spring. Our friend showed up with his blade equipped quad and cleaned out our driveway.

Jake helping to shovel snow off of the front sidewalk. Yes....there is a sidewalk underneath there.

.....Sigh....

Somebody please inform the weatherman that it is now Spring!

Awwwwww! That is very sad! (snicker, snicker)

I hope you enjoy your late winter. As I recall you had it pretty easy this winter!

I can laugh now...but I expect we will get dumped on a time or two more before it is really Spring around here! Normally it waits until our Rhododendron blooms and then we get it but good!

So, I will snicker now, but you have permission to snicker at me we we get it too.

Amazing what one day will do. I thought the first photo was very convincing.

Linda --- it is amazing isn't it....hard to believe it's just one day.

Brenda --- lol...ok...I'm remembering.....you gave me permission....lol The weather is crazy here....as I'm typing this...it's raining outside (and it's 1:10 in the morning...it seems so odd to me to have warmer temps over night than during the day...but that happens often)...go figure....who knows what will be out there when I get up and it's light...maybe the snow will be all gone (ya I know....wishful thinking, lol but probably some of it will be gone).....more like a slushy mess. Oh well....spring has to come soon....right? I mean...eventually.....please.... (wink wink)

Oh how nature loves to surprise us! Hope this snowfall melts quickly (without flooding possibilites) and that soon you and the robins will be seeing green grass again...

Thanks, Renee....Yes...let's hope this is all short lived (our forecast calls for rain for 5 days of rain....so most likely the snow will have a short life)

Hi
I have a question for you? Your template? where did you find templates that are so nice?
I am looking for a safe place to go for a new look.....

Thanks!!

Hi Renee. Thanks very much for the compliments about my blog! :0)

My template that I use here is one from Blogger itself. I just went into "Customize" and then "Pick a New Template" and I believe (and I'm not 100% sure because it's been so long since I've set it up and I forget for sure...but I'm fairly certain) it is the first template choice "Minima" (there are four choices on the Minima template) and I chose "Minima Blue".

After you save that, you can go into "Fonts and Colors" (again under "customize"). There are a lot of colour choices there for page background, text, links, frames for pics etc. and you can further customize your blog to the colours you like.

I hope that answers your question...if not....ask away and I'll do my best to help!
